The tour was excellent and worth the time and money. What I gained most from the trip was a better understanding of German and Swiss environmental policy. Meeting with numerous government policy-makers and green roof professionals enlightened me as to why green roofs are so prevalent in these countries compared to the U.S. I also gained a lot of historic and cultural knowledge from Christine as a tour guide...

Although I was already familiar with the technical aspects of green roofs, I now have a different perspective on how green roofs can be designed and constructed to increase biodiversity.

The compendium provides helpful background on many of the sites visited and makes it much easier to keep my facts straight.

Green Roof Safari was a very comprehensive look at green roof technology, from issues of design to implementation.  The knowledge base and unique access to projects provided by the tour leaders makes this a not-to-miss tour for anyone interested in learning more about green roofs.

Thank you for your very very very very very excellent organization and the way to guide the group. I suppose it was tiring for you, but results were masterly! Good and diversified choice of subjects, right rhythm, lovely group composition, tolerant, expert and helpful but resolute guide!  I wish you all the best for your work...
